Tips on what carpet best suits your requirements
There are four main types of carpet you will need to consider when selecting carpet.

1/ Polypropylene.
Polypropylene carpets are the least expensive. Polypropylene is a synthetic fibre best suited for Rental properties and medium traffic commercial areas. Polypropylene carpets are best known for their great price and easy cleaning.

2/ Nylon.
Nylon carpets are available in many styles and colors. Twist and plush piles are the most popular.
Nylon carpets are typically used for domestic purposes. When viewing samples and considering your choice, check the reverse side of the sample for information regarding manufacturer stain and anti static warranties.

3/ Solution Dyed Nylon
Solution dyed nylons are considered to be the best all round performing carpets you can purchase at the moment. Solution dyed nylons not only perform well, but are easy to clean and maintain. They come in a full variety of styles and colours.
Solution dyed carpets are well suited for high traffic households.

4/ Wool.
Wool carpets are available in many styles. .Pure wool carpet is on average, more expensive than synthetic carpet but the perfomance gains makes it money well spent.
Wool carpets dont usually carry stain warranties as wool is porous. Scotch guard and the like will penetrate rather than protect the fibre. Wool is a natural product, and its lanolin makes wool naturally stain resistant. Be sure to clean any spills straight away.A good quality wool carpet will out perform other carpet fibres, (however there are many things to consider, depending on your requirements). Wool carpets are used in both domestic and commercial situations.
